Welcome to the Powys County Council Waste Management website!
Powys County Council Waste Management Section is responsible for the collection, disposal, reuse and recycling of all waste produced in the County. The collection of household waste is subcontracted to the Refuse and Street Cleansing Department, who also provide a collection service to businesses.
This website provides details of all the services the Council and its partners provide in relation to waste management, including refuse collection, recycling and reuse. You can locate your nearest 'Community Recycling Site' or 'Household Waste and Recycling Centre', search the A-Z of waste, find out about the latest waste management schemes, and lots, lots more!
